Following the recent budget cuts which have resulted in the removal of the school crossing patrol we have been provided with a guidance pack from Newcastle City Council to share with families promoting safety when travelling to and from school.
Included in the pack below is:
- an outline lesson plan,
- a map showing crossing points near your school,
- the Green Cross Code information sheet,
- a set of safer crossing place pictures,
- road safety puzzle sheets,
- information for parents and carers.
